The heart muscle consists of valves and chambers to which blood flows in and out of as it pumps. Duplex Ultrasound Imaging visualizes the heart walls, size and valves. Screening for possible wall motion abnormalities, enlarged heart, high blood pressure damage, congenital defects (defects possibly from birth), valvular abnormalities and abnormal fluid around the heart. Advanced Screenings' experienced Cardiac Sonographer will place a probe on the chest and utilize Duplex Color Flow Ultrasound Imaging to visualize the heart to screen for possible abnormalities.
